Judy Hayes has been a professional artist for over 40 years,  Born and
raised in Wisconsin, she attended Marquette University in the 1960's  (graduating with a nursing degree) but her true passion was always art. 
She went from the Midwest, to Boston, Germany, Arkansas and Texas where she continuously took art classes and workshops, developing her work in watercolors, oils, liquid acrylics, and mixed media - including use of the
press to create original prints. Judy ran PPG Studios, a corporate art firm in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; pursued an art history degree at the University of Arkansas; studied at the Springmaid Villa Art School in Myrtle Beach, SC;
and taught print-making in Durango, Colorado.  Judy has learned from
dozens of respected artists, but has learned much through experimentation and steeping herself in various techniques. She has been happily making art
in Durango, Colorado for the past 20 years, focusing on mixed media
collages and found objects.
